Physikalisches Kolloquium „Good research supervision – one size fits all?“

Heute geht es mal um eine Veranstaltung, die viele von euch vermutlich nicht so auf dem Schirm haben – Die Physikalischen Kolloquien. Diese Kolloquien sind nicht solche, wie man sie z. B. aus dem Praktikum kennt, sondern (wissenschaftliche) Vorträge. Dies können Habilitationsvorstellungen sein, aber auch interessante Einblicke in die Forschung von Gästen, die durch unsere Professor:innen eingeladen wurden. Am kommenden Montag (16.01.2023, 16:15, HS 1 des MWP 1) wird es einen Vortrag zum Thema „Good research supervision – one size fits all?“ geben. Da dies ein Thema ist, was auch für Abschlussarbeiten sehr relevant ist, würden wir uns freuen, auch viele von euch dort zu sehen. Im Anschluss an den Talk, der nicht nur als frontale Präsentation, sondern auch interaktiv gestaltet wird, gibt es durch die Organisatoren gesponsorte Getränke und Kekse.

Today we are talking about an event that many of you probably don’t know about – the physics colloquia. These colloquia are not the kind you might be familiar with from a practical course, but (scientific) talks. These can be habilitation presentations, but also interesting insights into research by guests invited by our professors. Next Monday (16.01.2023, 16:15, HS 1 of MWP 1) there will be a talk on „Good research supervision – one size fits all?“. Since this is a topic that is also very relevant for final theses, we would be happy to see many of you there. After the talk, which will not only be a frontal presentation but also interactive, there will be drinks and biscuits sponsored by the organisers.
